Delicious Bramble Cocktail Recipe
This one is a great autumn / going into winter drink. It’s a little sour, a little citrus and just a bit sweet (depending on how much sugar syrup you use) with the delicious taste of blackberry. If you’re one for foraging you can pop some fresh blackberries in with the ice to give it that extra fresh and fruity flavour!
- 50ml Earl Grey gin
- 25ml lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sugar syrup
- Crushed ice
- 1 tbsp crème de mure
- 1 lemon slice and a blackberry (if in season) to serve
(To make sugar syrup put 300g sugar in 150ml of water on a low heat until the sugar dissolves. Leave to cool. You can store this in a bottle or jar until next time)
Pour the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a glass of crushed Ice.
Pour the crème de mure over the top so it trickles over the ice into the drink.
Garnish with the lemon slice and blackberries if you can get some.
