Kaffir Lime and Lemongrass Gin

Our multi-award winning original gin, extremely refreshing and exotic. It’s fragrant and aromatic, just perfect for a hot summers’ day. Featuring two flagship Asian botanicals this is both a Kaffir Lime gin and a Lemongrass gin combined.

A truly unique Gin carefully crafted with nineteen quality botanicals, our most complex Gin to date, our original recipe and the first of its kind. Our Kaffir Lime leaves are grown and sourced from a UK supplier and some are from our very own little tree! The Lemongrass is imported fresh from Thailand for the best possible taste.

Light citrus and juniper on the nose. To taste, a viscous mouthfeel with immediate citrus balanced with juniper, slowly giving way to fresh lemongrass. Following are gentle notes of Cubeb, intriguing hints of Tonka bean followed by a warm, smooth and satisfying finish.

Taste: Botanical Grasses, Zest and fragrant florals
Tonic: Best served with a non flavoured premium tonic such as Franklin & Sons Naturally Light
Garnish: Enjoy with a slice of fresh ginger, a sprig of mint or slice of lime. A whole red chilli completes the look.

Asian cuisine was the inspiration behind our Kaffir Lime and Lemongrass gin which has gone on to be a best seller. A shared love of ours, Thai green curry, offered the fresh exotic notes we hoped to capture and translate into a deliciously refreshing gin. We were aiming to create a Lemongrass gin that would bring back holiday memories of the far east, fresh citrus, spicy pepper, refreshing lemongrass and a smooth, creamy finish.

The freezer and spice cupboard were raided, and we got to work. It took over a year to perfect our recipe, the process and the ingredients to pull this one off, but we made it and the results speak for themselves. In all nineteen botanicals come together to deliver a mind-blowing blast of far eastern flavours, smoothly delivered on a sea of juniper, carrying an ever-increasing depth of taste which seems to last forever before slowing fading leaving a clean finish and pleasant aftertaste.
